Square-Enix has announced that Necromachina, formerly known as Moon Diver, will be on the show floor at E3. The above trailer for the Xbox Live Arcade game looks totally amazing, if you ask me. 2D side-scrolling action that looks chaotic and fun with support for four players appeals to my interests.
The game is being directed by Kouichi Yotsui, the man behind Strider, and it's totally apparent. The style of action and even the look of the characters falls right in line with that series. I can't wait to get my hands on this one next week at the show.

Anyway Strider fans around the WORLD can rejoice!
Don't hold out on us PS3 owners! Some of us don't own 360 due to high volumes of console failures. But we're such huge fans of Kouichi Yotsui work ( i.e Strider & Cannon Dancer ). I thought you're in the business to make money, seriously.
Holy shit, that's amaaaaaazing. So is this game. Can't wait to play it.
One weird thing though is that it looks like they completely ripped off Legend of Dragoon with the characters changing like they do with the wings.
The colors of the characters are even the same as Dragoon ... kinda strange. Even when they were just showing the character artwork at the beginning before they showed them in action my first thought when they showed the green character was his armor looks like Dragoon armor.
