NECA reveals Kratos action figure mold, I cream my pants photo

NECA recently revealed (on their MySpace page, along with shirtless photos of themselves flexing in from of their sports cars) the mold for the official Kratos action figure. The figure is set be released in tandem with God of War 2 (which currently has a March 14th release date, according to more-reliable-than-people-would-like-to-think Gamestop.com).

I like toys. I have them all over my house. I'll buy a 12" Leatherface doll (complete with severed body parts in a bucket) and I'll try to convince myself it's for my eight-year-old stepson, when I know I'll cuddle with it when no one is around.

I liked God of War, too. A lot. Probably played through it six or seven times. I drooled all over myself as security dragged me, kicking and screaming, away from the God of War 2 kiosk on the E3 show floor.

So let's make this clear right now -- I need one of these. Now. I fully expect one of you to buy me one.

Man, the blog really needs to be fixed to handle badly sized images a lot better. Especially the issues with the avatars, they quite often don't line up right, or go out of the boundaries they're in, or maybe don't even display at all. I've seen these issues in the versions of Firefox 2.0 in Linux, Windows and Mac OS X, so it's not just my computer.

Optimus Prime could take Kratos any day.

ZOMG Kratos would pull out Prime's energon converter and slap him with it.

Kratos would have one hell of a climb. Prime could step on him. And even if Kratos is a 'god of war', the Matrix of leadership destroyed Unicron, an entire damn planet (and the coolest raid boss ever if my Transformer MMORPG idea came to me...). Two words, road kill.

LOL, I guess u didn't play GoW. Big clunky metal- encrusted n00bs are kratos' stock in trade. FFS u dont even have an avatar, don't forum battle me.

I did play GoW. I guess you never saw anything involving Transformers. Calling Optimus Prime a 'n00b' is n00bish yourself. He was over 4 million years old, predating human civilization by at least 3 million years. Not to mention that Unicron (the Transformer God of Chaos) ate planets like popcorn and the Autobot Matrix of Leadership, typically housed within Optimus Prime's chest destroyed him, I think that Kratos would stand little chance against such power.

PWNED!

And before anyone else interjects or complains, completely inane fan battles are what these websites are all about. Get over it.

Oops, it looks like the sheer awesomeness of Optimus Prime's mere toy broke the webpage. Bow down to his greatness!!

The Kratos toy wishes it were the Optimus Prime toy. It's got around 50 moving parts, made out of metal and is all around bad ass. Not to mention the video of D-toid worshiping a statue of Optimus Prime at this year's E3.
