Whatever happened to a followup on the NCSoft/Sony PS3 deal?? A few years ago at E3 they announce this big exclusive partnership - but it's been years now and no game. :(
I used to play City of Villains, loved it for a good while then it became a social thing for the most part as I met pretty cool people but I stopped being able to justify the cost. The updates added little except a brief respite from the - if I'm being honest - tediousness.
Anyway after all that crap I would take a peek at the new one but be resigned to quitting when Old Republic comes out. Also I got too much games to get through. Do fancy a shot of APB though.

I think it died. I remember reading the the deal was quietly terminated.
I was looking forward to it too. If Huxley can't make it to consoles though I'm convinced MMO's just aren't console material.

Probably my second most played MMO, alongside LotRO and EQ2. You could spend hours just tweaking your costume to match your power particle effects. Good fun. Had high hopes for Champions, but quickly lost interest (What happened Cryptic?).
Crap, so many MMO's coming out, what the fuck should I play?! I really need to clone myself to multiply my gaming enjoyment.
I used to really want to play the City of Geroes game but I had nowhere to play it. So here's to DC Universe Online a game that'll offer a similar experience and allow me to do it on. My console. In all honesty it's one of the main reasons I'm excited to be a PS3 owner if just for the promise of MMOs to come.
