NCSoft president says ports are on their way to the PS3 photo

In a recent interview with NCSoft's North America president Chris Chung, he announced that NCSoft is working hard to port some of their most popular PC titles to the PS3, in addition to a completely new IP which they plan to debut later in the year. Clearly the company is in high spirits about their exclusivity deal with Sony and planning to give the PS3 customer their best. Chung also commented:

"We're going to introduce a lot of new services that will make it easier for people to start playing games right away and make them have easier connections to the people and friends that they play with."

How interesting.... A few summers ago, I played a inane amount of City of Heroes with my friends and loved every second of it, so obviously my hopes lie with that one, but this news will surely please Lineage and Tabula Rasa players as well. Should City of Heroes see a PS3 release, I'll likely buy it just to play with the character creation system for hours again.

Haven't all MMO attempts on consoles been abysmal failures?

when is CoH gonna get supplied with non-mitten hands? That was my number-one pet peeve with that game.

Sadly, the character creation is the best part of CoH.

For those of you that maybe played COH in the first year of release and then gave up on it, I urge you to give it another shot.

They have one of the best content updates in MMO's. It's almost a totally different game then it was at launch. (in a good way and not a SWG way)

I truly am sorry to say this, but this really seems like a complete and utter waste of time. The only thing you have going for you NCSoft is Guild Wars. And it sure received a rating of "EB: EXTRA BORING" after i had logged 3 days of play time.

Sorry, but i just do not think console gamers care.

Spent more time on that CoH/CoV creation screen than anywhere else in the game lol. Great times are had with my Norseman (Mind Dominator), Ed Garr. Do want!

Don't see CoH/CoV going to the PS3 due to all the abilities one can have at once as well as your intent to use a ton of them at varying times at the end game.
