Responding to a comment on the EU PlayStation Blog post about The Last of Us' final content release for Season Pass owners -- a bunch of new stuff for multiplayer and the single-player's "hardest challenge" yet, Grounded Mode --  Naughty Dog spoke about possibly saving current players money on the upcoming PlayStation 4 remaster once it's out.

Asked if folks who own The Last of Us and its DLC pass will get a discount on the new version of the game, community strategist Eric Monacelli said: "We're looking into the business model for all this and will post about this once we have input from all regions."

They really ought to offer something for those players. Even with the visual upgrades and bonus content included in Remastered, paying a full $60 again is a bit much to ask of us.

Cordycep snap: Last of Us PS4 photo mode detailed

I already wrote about how much I loved the idea behind inFamous: Second Son's photo mode and I'm glad to see the trend continuing, even if it's an obvious marketing thing. Taking cool pictures is fun. Plus, in that article I made a great Ansel Adams Family joke. This video explains how to go about snapping shots in The Last of Us' PS4 remaster. more

It looks like The Last of Us PS4 pre-orders will be refunded after all

For the most part, the policy on the PSN (and a lot of other digital outlets) is a 100% "no refund" policy. When you pre-order something, the price is locked in, your bank account is drained, and you're committed. That seemed...more

The Last of Us Remastered comes to PS4 on July 29

Here's a proper trailer for The Last of Us Remastered, coming to PlayStation 4 on July 29, 2014. Looks fantastic, visually -- but is that enough for another playthrough? The video assumes you have already gone through the PS3 version (or have a reckless disregard for spoilers). So don't watch it if that doesn't describe you.more
