Dunno about the direct endorsement thing. I like the passive apporoach better, like how MGS does it as a reference to setting with Calorie Mate, Walkman or iPod and Mac. Or just completely random like in Phantasy Star where you can have a Pizza Hut shield for no reason other than to have one.
I also remember Super Mario/Zelda Cereal, Donkey Kong cereal, Pac-Man cereal and the like back when I was a kid. Everything had its own cereal back then.

Uncharted is a game I have always seemed to want to play one day. This is the first time I have seen nathan drake so I think I will always see him differently now when I play the game hehe.
I understand that this is business, and that it's not new, but something about it makes me feel sick.
I really don't mind BS advertising stuff that happens outside of the games (TV/Web Adverts--Because I can ignore/avoid them), it's when it starts seeping into the games is when my skin crawls. Look'n at you, Alan Wake.

He also robs a museum, attacking innocent guards in the process (Including pulling one off a rooftop knowing that the guard could die), deliberately chooses to double-cross the people who would pay him for his work on two separate occasions, and he does all this not for country or some noble task (At least not until he's already knee-deep in the conflict) but for riches. And up until this point he's never received long-term consequences for his actions or his cavalier attitude. So you can understand why some people would see him as a psychopath.

Subway is actually pretty good, and seeing games do corporate deals doesn't really upset me in the least. Should be done more often.

It only affirms the capitalist nature of the company, which reaffirms the capitalist world we live in. One which your country strongly fought for (I assume you're American - I believe I've seen you saying so over here, please correct me if I'm wrong).
If you don't like this situation then maybe that means you're a communist. Which is perfectly fine, I can respect that, even though that's not exactly what I believe in.
