Napoleon Dynamite game coming; I tried suicide, but the rope broke! photo

According to Siliconera, the only website I would trust to watch my kitten while I'm on vacation, Crave Entertainment has picked up the license to create two portable titles based on Napoleon Dynamite, a film as famous for its own merits as it is for the number of times guys named "Chad" have quoted it in order to impress guys named "Brett".

Crave gave very few details as to what they plan to do with such a dubious license, but they have revealed a plan to create two titles: one for the Nintendo DS and one for the PSP, and that the games would include all your favorite characters from the movie, such as Napoleon, that Mexican guy and the other Mexican guy!

Destructoid considers itself a kind and benevolent deity, but, with moves like this, Crave is edging closer and closer to catching a swarm of locusts in the junk.

This quite possibly could revolutionize the gaming industry.

I might buy a DS just to get both versions of this game.

You know honestly, I could see a Napoleon Dynamite Point and Click adventure game on the DS, (but only if Ron Gilbert of monkey island fame is head of the project

other then that.... a dance sim?

Hmm, wonder if there will be a level where you get Tina to come get some ham. Or maybe get everybody to vote for Pedro.

Can't imagine this would make a good game....gosh!

I'm stoked on this game

*imagines*

wolverine hunting, tether ball, steak/melon throwing, nunchuks, dancing, Tupperware selling, milk tasting, glamor shots, action figure dragging...

*sighs*

the game isn't ever out yet and it's officially the BEST GAME EVAR!

The same thing happened when the PS1 and PS2 sold millions of units, the most random games you could think of were developed and released as money makers.

hurray! I get a chance to pay a harrible overrated game, with basically a generic story, and so dull, i'll make Anesthesia obsolete!
And remember how bad fanboys reacted then Twiligiht Princess got an 8.8? Well, you can sure depend on this game getting a 9.5, because so many people think is was, due to the movie!

(spoilers: I hated the movie)

I loved the movie, but I saw it at an indie theater before it hit big and everyone started quoting it unendingly. I can't see how this could make a good game.
