Namco brings the drama in latest Tales of Zestiria trailer

2:00 PM on 04.26.2014

I'm drowning in Tales games. And I kind of love it. There are definitely worse ways to die.

Tales of Xillia was amazing, and its sequel is right around the corner. The Symphonia games look lovely in HD. And Tales of Hearts R is crossing the Pacific this winter. Yes, it's a fantastic time to be a fan of Bandai Namco's flagship RPG franchise.

Tales of Zestiria is a little further off on the horizon, but that faint and blurry image is beginning to come into focus. The second trailer for the latest entry in the series has arrived, giving us a look at a mess of new faces, locales, and a few moments of actual gameplay.

It's mostly just fragments of the title's story, though, which provide a glimpse of the Japanese voice talent. Speaking of which, it kind of sounds like the actors recorded their lines from inside a bucket. I suppose we'll just chalk that up to the footage being captured at the Niconico Chokaigi event in Chiba this weekend.
