I think I'll let the price slide considering how much work I'm assuming they spent on the book. That being said I'm kind of used to company's like NIS giving us great special editions for an amazing price when it comes to these type of games.

Magic Master (or Wizard's Companion, don't like the localized name) is the single greatest fluff companion to a video game since the 80s/90s PC days. It includes listings for all the spells, monsters, and items, details in-world fluff, includes legend and lore in the form of fairy tale stories, and has a rune guide for translating the in-world language. The PS3 version includes the book digitally but having the impressive thing in your hands and using it alongside the game is the best feeling in the world.

Anyway, the runes on the cover spell "Magic Master." The stone in the center is your first test. If you can see your reflection upside down then you have a wizard's sight (and yes, the stone reflects upside down).

I have an imported copy..the game alone is worth the price of admission here. Anyone looking for a solid JRPG..or just a solid game in general needs to look no further.

Ok, I tried pre-ordering since the FAQ said it won't use the card 'till the game ships so I typed everytihng needed but then it said in red Physical Purchase Failed or something but there's no link into why but then I get a fruad report from my bank:
1) A transaction in the amount of $116.79 at digital river int, a computer programming service company was attempted in LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg on or around 2012-06-30 at 11:39PM.

2) A transaction in the amount of $116.79 at digitalriver dot com , a computer software store was declined in LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg on or around 2012-06-30 at 11:39PM.

3) A transaction in the amount of $116.79 at dri namcobandaigames, a computer network or information service company was declined in ORDERFIND.COM, minnesota United States on or around 2012-06-30 at 11:39PM.

Anybody else having similar issues in trying to order it? Are these the companies Namco uses to transfer funds?
