I played Myst on my computer when it first released, and I bought it again for the iPad and I must say that it is a game that plays better on the iPad than it ever did on a PC. Some games are just meant to be touched to be played. Not many... but Myst is one of those!
I've thought about how cool Myst would be on the 3DS. Then I realize that they should just make a new thing like Myst for the 3DS instead.
Neat. Amazed they could adam PLASMA engine to good old 3DS. realMYST goes for big bucks, this is a nice alternative. Now port Riven to android, you bastards... >.>
Am I the only person who hated myst? Hated it when it came out, still hate it today (what 15 years later?). Funny thing? I do enjoy point and click adventure games.
First Cave Story and now this. Only thing left is for Zork (another game I want) to come out for the 3DS. I don't know, I want Myst, and my 3DS is dusty right now, but I definetly think it's better on the PC

im so confused.... is it a 3d remake of myst? or a 3d version of realMYST, the 3d myst game.....

RIME is from realMYST, that was a 3D remake of MYST, not a re-release. All re-releases after realMYST included it though.
Is there really anyone on the planet at this stage who wants to play Myst, but hasn't? If they really want to keep releasing this, how about a glossy update to RealMYST?
@Gaidenrider - Zork Nemesis or Grand Inquisitor would both be pretty great on the 3DS, though I doubt they'd take the effort to re-render it all in 3D (if they even still have the working files).

This is the same company that released the abortions that were the PSP and DS ports of Myst. I'd avoid it at all costs.
