Teenagers sucks particularly bad

zombies...
zombiefreaks!
I think I puked in my mouth a little bit.
my point is, of all the white crying kids band MCR is not that bad
Have you guys listened to the songs.
This is how I disappear has some interesting rhythms, decent guitar harmonies that bounce around between fast and slow. It'll be fun.
The main reason MCR is in here is that the dudes are huge fans of the game.
Teenagers isn't so hot
Famous Last Words is easier, with an up-down bounce that swells to be a decently epic song with a decent solo.
Even though people hate them, these are alright songs, though I'd say better suited for Rock Band. Listening to them, the co-op is really good, really split between the two guitarists.
I'm stoked.
Important question that wasn't answered in the press release: Price? Anyone near a 360 who can fire it up and let us know?
now as for songs, mcr have have decent music, but not teenagers. couldve picked pretty much anything else, except for im not okay from the last album (oh god i hate that song). Other two songs are pretty good for that album, all right compared to last album, and overall meh in my opinion. Should have got stuff from other album, if it had to be mcr.
And yeah, this wouldve been hot stuff a few months ago, too late now.
Activision = lose
Time for some music elitism: "emo" isn't short for "emotional." It's short for "emocore," a spinoff of hardcore punk characterized by more melodic progression and less chaos. It's been a genre since the 1990s, just not a very well known one; it's just that the industry has been quick to apply the label to modern bands like Fall Out Boy that are really just the same-old pop punk in different clothes.
Anyways, why are they putting any punk-related songs in Guitar Hero? "Dead!" was a fun diversion in GHII for 360, and I'm a huge fan of punk/hardcore, but punk songs are generally less interesting when it comes to Guitar Hero, compared with much more complex songs from other rock genres.
500 ms points like the other three packs, I like mcr, this is actually good news that new songs are actually being released and that gh2 isn't being forgotten and thrown to the vultures. . . It would have benn fan-freaking-tastic news say, a month after it was released. . . but its better late than never.
Fuckin' emo music...
Also, MCR is emo now, Sunny Day Real Estate is alternative, and the Sex Pistols are classic rock.
ha no but really...
whens Rock Band come out? damn.
Here's a fuckin idea... Why not put Stevie Ray Vaughn's Little Wing on there? How about some Joe Satriani? Maybe even a guitarists choice pack like Satriani, Vai, Petrucci, McAlpine, Holdsworth, etc etc (I didn't want to list them all, believe me I'm not leaving out any other virtuosos in my mind...)
Perhaps it would make sense to leave this silly shitty music to blow away in the wind the same way it blew in like the pile of garbage it is.
And holy shit where is the fucking SLAYER...WHY IS THERE NO SLAYER!...they basically rule riff writing like not many bands do. There is so much music they fail to recognize...How about some Devin Townsend? He's got a tonne of great music perfect for this kinda thing. Bleh...
My Chemical Romance...what next? Marilyn Manson? How about some New Kids On The Block...you can play the notes that the band claimed to play on stage too! AND MAKE NO SOUND...How about some classical stuff? Leona Boyd or Sagovia? Or how about some REAL punk? Hardcore? Anything!!!
80s hair metal, My Chemical Romance, eat my balls...stupid popularity contest...
Emo or not, shit is still shit, no matter what you call it. They're whiney little bitches who make shitty music - sounds like emo to me. Seriously, fuck this shitty band. I'm tired of people like them putting out music that is dumbing down the musical tastes of the kids today. Fuck 'em.
Oh and more Dethklok...totally not enough of that shit.
