Well, it looks like we have a confirmation of a release window from developer Jools Watsham (Quarter 1, 2013), and clarification that there will be "even more content" beyond the previously updated Granny levels in the PC and 3DS versions of the game.
Watsham also stated that he was exploring Miiverse capabilities. Just like Mighty Switch Force! HD, if Renegade Kid can keep the price point low ($10), a few new levels and remote play capabilities would put me over the edge to triple-dip.
