Ms. Splosion Man jumps to Steam, Game for Windows, WP7

Accompanying the just-released iOS version of Ms. Splosion Man, the lighthearted platformer is also now available for Steam (Windows only), Games for Windows, and Windows Phone 7. The pricing on those first two ports is $9.99, while the WP7 game takes the same approach as iPhone with its $2.99 asking price.

Based on Chris' review of Ms. Splosion Man iOS and my prior experience with the original Xbox Live Arcade release, I'd recommend going with the title on Windows proper for the cooperative campaign. The folks at Twisted Pixel know how to put together a solid co-op showing to the point where I enjoy those levels more than anything else in the series.

Review: Ms. Splosion Man (iOS)

Ms. Splosion Man is one of my favorite platformers to date. Like the original, it's charming, engaging challenging, and really put Twisted Pixel on the map for me. The mobile version translates most of the magic of the original to iOS in favor of serviceable touch controls, and a smoother graphical output. But it also shows the darker side of mobile gaming quite well.more

Free challenge updates coming to Ms. Splosion Man

Review: Ms. Splosion Man

Twisted Pixel's Ms. Splosion Man is like 'Splosion Man, but with more pink -- and the lead character wears a bow in her hair. Wait, she doesn't have hair... how does that bow stay in? Why doesn't it just burn up? This game makes no sense. Score: 2 out of 10 -- Lacks realism; too pink; every button does, like, basically the same thingJust kidding. The game's pretty awesome. No duh, right?more

Review: Dark Souls II: The Crown of the Old Iron King

While Dark Souls II brought me back to that special place that I found with Demon's Souls in many ways, the first DLC pack, Crown of the Sunken King, didn't go far enough with its concepts. It's really hard to give ...more
