If I had the talent, I'd take the 7 hour drive up to frisco, but sadly, I'm a science man and can't write well.

I live relatively close (Fremont), and I am interested, but I've never applied for an internship before. What exactly do I write about? Yes, dumb question is dumb =(
one question, do u have to have previous experience writing for another game related blog or any other "professional" editorial/journalism group, or can we just show our skills and see if u approve? o and i live nearby, but i most likely may have to commute there
What Max said. Telecommunity from Fremont could definitely work. Some assignments are in the city, some are in Redwood city, that sort of thing.
What's required is a passion for the games industry, the ability to articulate on what you see (we'll take you to events in the area), and some free time during weekdays. Its not a high pressure job in any way so no prior experience is required -- we'll train you. Holler!

What kind of experience would I need? And do I need to be a very fast typist? I want to be a videogame producer (or gaming journalist if that doesn't happen), but I don't have the right skills yet. :'(
I really should move on to San Fransico. Can I learn science, skin dive, or study oceanography?
I am considering this since I live in the city and am on summer break from college. My writing isn't perfect, but I think I am ok at writing funny gaming related crap sometimes. Well, what the hell. I might as well send an email in.
