The above is what I assume will be part of a series of videos called Mortal Mondays. Quite amusing, then, that we got this on Wednesday. Nevertheless, it details some of the plot that will be going on in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. Yes, the game still has a plot.
After the jump, we have another video called which shows Sonya vs. Catwoman and The Flash vs. Scorpion. Our very own Nick Chester reckons the game is actually decent, and I must confess that the battles look rather cool -- I'm digging the punch ups that happen as the characters fall to a lower part of the stage.
Time will tell if this game turns out to be better than expected, but I have a little bit of renewed faith, crummy Fatalities aside.

I dunno what you guys are watching. This honestly looks a metric ton better than the other 3d mortal kombats.
I just wish that the characters didnt squat in a comical fart position every time they went into it...

im completely fine with the story for this game because DC's continuety is stupid and convoluted enough.
1: It makes you basic hits harder and faster
2: it also seems to be a parry/cancel for on coming attacks.
Even if you think these are bad, that grapple Captain Marvel has when he yell's SHAZAM is totally awesome.
I'm only assuming it's a piece of shit, because every video for the game (except the ill-fated joker fatality that was removed) makes me want to play this less and less... I barely want to even rent it now...

@ crunks Maybe this is the April fools joke everyone reported it to be when it was announced.
Who the fuck do they have doing the character animations? A blind, crippled ape? They look like shit. It looks like two gumbys fighting. People don't move like that. Ugh.
I'll just wait till someone youtubes all the fatalities and then I'll never have to waste brain power thinking about this game ever again.
Looks fun to me, actually. (Hides from flame thrower)
