Midway likes to send us a lot of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe videos. Like, an absolute spunkload of them. This latest is part of the game's "Ultimate Mash Ups" series, which aren't really all that ultimate. In the above video, you get to see Lex Luthor take on Jax while The Joker and Kano duke it out.

Stay tuned for another ten million MK vs. DC videos.

This just doesn't seem fun. Too stiff. Though I do like the falling to the bottom level a bit.

I love the Joker in this game, he's almost enough to get me to buy it. Almost.

@Major Mustard,

Its a great idea, but horrible execution, pardon the pun.

Any of the Capcom vs games shits all over MK vs DC. And no Johnny Cage make me not want this game at all.

For some strange reason this video actually made the game seem more interesting to me. Is that a good thing?

God, I gotta go over to Fighters Generation and watch some Viewtiful Joe in Tatsunoko Vs Capcom to cleanse my mind of this filth.

I probably complain about this every time you post a video, but here goes again: you stretched it. Is it really all that difficult to make sure a video is displayed in its original aspect ratio?

This looks mediocre at best to me. This may be a rental if I'm really bored.

Needs more 2D. I have not been excited about a MK game since UMK3. Why does there seem to be a slight pause after every move executed? They need to stop burning all their money on these shitty MK games.

@ Holyetheline;

What, Jax punching Lex's face over and over again not good enough for you?!? :O)

The Joker looks like a properly realised fighter in the video. I'm just not convinced about the 'fatalities' in one of the other vids I saw, they look a bit simple and sanitised.

Seriously, this looks to be the most horrible game ever. Bad idea, shitty combat, lame story and cutscenes. WTF.

It is decided: I shall no longer point out the awful aspects of this game, nor make fun of it.

Anything I could possibly say has not only been said by fellow commenters, but also visually expressed in those failure-ridden videos.

Ok, one last shot: It most definitely seems to be an awful game with abysmal gameplay. It makes me actually miss that poor, unbalanced gameplay display, awful blurry live action mess that were the series' former games.

By the way, Deadpool is awesome. In an alternate reality in which this god-forsaken thing never happened. I hate my alternate me for not having to live with such a painful emotional scar. I should thank everyday for being gifted with Spidey facing off with Ryu instead of KANO. Who the hell LIKES Kano either way? He was derivative enough with his bald half-metal face. Now he's just George Michael. With a half-metal face.

First off Deadpool is awesome and needs his own game and movie. Now I wonder who would win in a fight Deadpool or Deathstroke?

Anyway I'm still going to give this a chance. The pro-moves seem entertaining, but MK has never been as technically sound as say Virtual Fighter or Dead or Alive. The main draw is to beat someone bloody and then kill them at the end of the match. All I hope is this game does well enough to keep Midway going.

Still MK vs Street Fighter would have made more sense. or better yet MK vs Killer Instincts. Cinder vs Scorpion, Jax vs TJ Combo, Sub Zero vs Glacier. now that's what i'm talking about there.

Back when the original Mortal Kombat came out, the fatalities were cool but the character movement was just so stiff (that's what she said). Here we are, all these years later, and they sanitized the fatalities for a license and the character animations are still stiff and jerky.
