Mortal Kombat Klassic fight stick comes with 3 MK games photo

The Mortal Kombat Klassic Fight Stick is now available for PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360. It looks kind of like the old MK arcade cabs, but features arcade parts from Suzo Happ and has a velvet-wrapped foam underside for lap play. Fancy!

We wanted to let you know that your $129 gets you more than the stick. In the box you'll get a code to download the recently released Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection, the digital compilation of the first three games of the franchise.

This fight stick is available at retailers now, and can be ordered direct from PDP.

Seeing this really makes me want a slice of pizza...
Now, this is the problem I have with Suzo-Happ parts: I grew up in arcades, and for every three JPN fighters (SF, KOF, DS) there's either Mortal Kombat or Killer Instinct. As a child, I was scared of the style and look of those games (WHY THE FUCK IS QUAN CHI STARING DIRECTLY AT ME?), but as I got older I got over my fear and attempted the games. It was...awkward as hell. The slim joystick of a Gumball head stick was replaced by a shift stickm. It felt like I was driving instead of fighting. Not to mention that MK doesn't believe in quarter circles for some reason, so I have to jam the stick all the way down, then go right to shoot a fireball? That's why I share a general hatred for MK Arcades, and use my Madcatz TE for all fighters.

TL;DR, I HAVE SMALL HANDS AND I'M A STUPID WEEABOO.
I love the overall look of the stick except DEM BUTTONS! Looks really uncomfortable. Also mk seems for me at least to be a hard game to play on stick. I have a Street fight SE modded with sanwa parts and that works great for capcom games. But for MK pad all the way.

Still though that's a sharp looking stick.
@Epic-Kx

don't like Hori or Sanwa Sticks???

also why no MK Trilogy??? i rather take that than the MK Arcade Kollection
@Epic

Freakin' weeboo.
TROLOLOLOLOLL!

Personally I'm a Happ/IL guy. I was basically the opposite of you. Probably doesn't help that most of my SF experience is from the Genesis/Saturn.
Needs moar hitbox.

MK is the a rare fighter in that it's just better with a d-pad. Yay for for directional inputs!
Not nearly as beautiful as the one that came with MK9.
Um, TYM already went over this back in August Dale.

@PrinceHeir.
He's a weaboo and therefore doesn't like broken fighters. (MK Trilogy) As nice as it is to have Rayden, Johnny Cage and Baraka, UMK3 is far better on balance.

@Art
Negative Edge ftl D: I would use my Chun-Li TE but I can't seem to piece together a viable button configuration.
I really think they are dropping the ball on this one. Why in the world would you buy this controller, when you can buy the Tourney stick, which is compatible with more games?

THe button placement, although nostalgic as fuck, is really a waste on this fine piece.
