There's just something about playing fighting games on the go that's extremely exciting to me. Especially nowadays when handhelds have almost caught up to their console brothers in terms of capability, and games like Super Street Fighter IVand Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 already have near-perfect ports on the 3DS and PS Vita, respectively. NetherRealm Studios wants to replicate what Capcom has already done, but better.
As you can see in the latest trailer, NetherRealm is bringing over the same package of Mortal Kombat that you'll find in the Komplete Edition, which includes all the classic costumes and four DLC characters. But to make the Vita version the best version, they're adding 150 new missions to the Challenge Tower and some slick touch screen support for fatalities and new mini games (like the Mortal Kombat version of Fruit Ninja!).
Lately I've really been feeling the drought of nothing happening on the Vita these days. I need something new to play! Mortal Kombat really could not have come at a better time. Just one more week, poor Vita. Hang in there.
Agreed... by the time I platinum uc:ga ill have this, then after mk, ill have resistance!
I'm pretty satisfied with my vita..
I still gota finish up rayman origins and modnation rt... so I've got some vita love 2 hold me over after resistance and the drought til the e3 announcements from sony for vita...
Games have been trickling in... it's weird that I've been playing the smaller Vita titles more than the bigger ones. I've been playing the hell out of Hustle Kings and Pinball Arcade. Not much into fighting games, but this'll be a nice addition to the catalog.
Now once that first FPS comes out (Resistance I think?), then things will start to get interesting.
I love how the week before E3 could totally be a lovely, low-key chance for everyone to rest up before getting punched in the stomach by the biggest industry event in the country. Oh, wait, my mistake. This week is a churning...
