The PlayStation Vita has secured itself another game for the year -- a portable version of Mortal Kombat.
Although it will take a lot of content from last year's console release, it will sport some brand new features, with gameplay designed for "on the go" competition. According to the box art, DLC characters such as Skarlet and Freddy Krueger will be included.
Details on the new features will come over the next few months. It'll also be available to play at the Vita Hill Social Clubs.

The vita keeps looking better and better.
Well it's supposed to be a unique experience to that of the PS3 with the touch controls and all, but I see your point. I wouldn't re-buy this game for 50 bones either. My question is what about the games we already own and this cross platform thing, will I be able to play my MK9 on the Vita as well as my PS3 or do i have to have a copy of each for cross platform?
Anyone no the answer?

You are right;
In Japan, games are approximately 20% cheaper if you download them.
So this will be approximately 32$ which is a pretty decent price considering all the extra characters and portability.
I know what it means, but I can't tell if what context it is in.

Then again, this was before Freddy made it in, but I think we can all agree that Fred fits the game (and the 90's nostalgia it thrives on) much better.
I'd pick up this, even though I already own it on my PS3. I just love MK too much to let this pass.
