Warner Bros. has announced the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade today.

The downloadable package will be a collection of the classic arcade trilogy -- Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. It's being developed with Other Ocean with help from NetherRealm studios, and will feature online play, leaderboards, achievements/trophies, along with the same gameplay you likely remember.

It's out "late summer," and it's only $9.99 or 800 MS Points, which is a damned steal if you ask me. But considering how good the new Mortal Kombat is, I have a feeling I'll have a hard time going back to the originals. Maybe for nostalgia sake, though… is that worth $10? You tell me!

Classic Amiga title Midwinter set for a remake

Back in the late '80s a game arrived on the Commodor Amiga that I think few played but was way ahead of the times. Midwinter was a survival, turn-based strategy title and a stealth-based, first-person RPG and Eurogamer is rep...more
