UK readers might want to schedule a trip to Morrisons if they're interest in some new releases but hate spending money. According to reports, the supermarket chain is selling off copies of new games at some incredibly silly prices.
Tiger Woods, Mercenaries 2 and Spore Creatures are all retailing for £15, £25 and £12.99 respectively, while Guitar Hero: On Tour is available for £12.50. Considering one or two of those are games I was curious about but would never pay full price for, that is tempting me to hop on a bus to Sidcup and splurge a little.
The deal is due to end on September 14 and supplies are said to be selling out fast (shocking,) so you best hurry. Go on, run!

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

But what about the fish?
Was a good haul... Going to be nipping back tomorrow to see if any more releases have been put out.
I'd love to see them do more of these promotions. Nice to see someone give Game a run for their money.
Jim Sterling works too hard
Going down the local Morrisons on Friday when I get paid. Hoping there's still some worthwhile stuff there.
Can't play it until my 360 comes back from being repaired though
Fail
Golf balls people, golf balls!!
Oh, nice deal on the games, too. I can't imagine ever buying the ones you mentioned, though.
It's not just those three which are discounted in the store near me. They've got Infinite Undiscovery and the new Viva Pinata discounted to £25 and below too.
Games are always cheaper at morrisons. Even without this promotion they are still always £10 cheaper than everywhere else.
God bless Morrisons. :O)
I remember getting Super Paper Mario for £30 when no one would stock it for less than £37.
They may not have the 3 for £20 (or whatever), offers, but they do at least keep the new releases at an acceptable price, unlike GAME, or it's tranny version, Game Station.
