Morgan Webb, Jimmy Fallon to talk E3 tonight... wait, what? photo

As a late night talk show host, Jimmy Fallon is, like, totally way cooler than those other guys. I mean, seriously -- did Johnny Carson ever have a Twitter account where he recount fights he had in NY pizza joints? No! King of Late Night my ass!

Also, Fallon talks about videogames a bunch on his show, and guess what? We have heard of these things, and we like them. Seriously though, if Fallon is making the ground-floor creative decisions for NBC's The Jimmy Fallon Show, good for him. Why? Because he's doing some sort of pre-E3 coverage tonight, with G4's Morgan Webb as his guest.

So heads up -- set your DVR for The Jimmy Fallon Show tonight (12:35 AM on NBC) if you're interested in Fallon and Webb talk about God of War III (or Wii Sports 2) and play them there videogames. You know you have nothing better to do.

i just don't her all that much anymore, her arrogance has outdistanced her intelligence imo. those morgan minutes are the pinnacles of her microsoft fanboyism.

Tch... Fine. On your recommendation, I'll give Fallon this one shot, which is three more than he deserves.

That Twitter link is messed up in your first paragraph, Nick. Relative links or absolute links or something, I don't know. Fuck my days as a computer science student.

Jimmy Fallon isn't TOO bad as host of Late Night. I mean, Conan definitely took some time to settle into his role there, so I'll give him some breathing room.

Oh Jimmy Fallon, you try so hard to get into the hipsters minds by having such guests like Tim & Eric, and now Morgan Webb.

Too bad he's so god damn horrible.

They had Tim and Eric on last night. Maybe there's hope here.

Thats cool and all, I wonder when they'll get an actual games journalist on his show. One who's defining quality isnt their tits (or stupid hair or stupid jokes)

Sorry but so far Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is an absolute travesty. Maybe he'll improve, who knows, but I'll watch it tonight a little bit to see how he's come from the first few episodes I saw.

Ugh. Morgan Manjaw?

We'd probably get some real game knowledge if he put Sessler on the show. Not to mention give the show some humor. Zing!

At least Morgan is putting a lot more effort into her appearance these days. She was looking quite manly there for a while. New hairdo, more makeup, girlier (is that a word?) clothes. All for the better!

Agree on Sessler instead of Webb but most people don't know who either of them are and with Webb at least you get some T&A to look at. Fallon has been trying hard I'll give him that, but from the times I've watched some of the show his band The Roots totally upstage him. I'll tune in for some E3 talk but don't expect me to stay tuned in.

t&a is nice, but not when talking about games. theres a time to be coy and a time to be serious and i don't take her serious at all.

I've successfully kept Jimmy Fallon out of my life for many years now and I think I'll keep it that way. I won't rage against him since my material would be pretty outdated by now but I will make a point of mentioning how unfunny I find him.

with his show being as terrible as it is, this is probably going to suck as well.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs are on, so I will watch this as a bonus. Who cares if it's Morgan Webb? The fact that people will actually be talking games on a major talk show is fine by me.

I like what he's doing; he had Tim & Eric, he talks about video games, but he's just not funny. He tries, but fails. I wouldn't be sad if he got cancelled.

If they would just let the Roots play for half an hour, that would be better than the Jimmy Fallon show.

I watched Jimmy Fallon last week and I remembered why he was horrible. He ruined every SNL sketch he was in because he couldn’t stop cackling. Watching the show, he cackled every 5 seconds.

Yeah, Jimmy needs some time to adjust to running a show. I remember when Conan first started, I was ready to boo him off stage. But once he got comfortable, and really let loose, he's the best there is on late night. I think the powers that be think Jimmy has that potential as well. Maybe he should get liquored up before each show.

That being said, I'm so glad he's really covering gaming pop culture and stuff. No one else did this before.

Isn't E3 like a month and a half away?!?

@ Qraze- Yes, because video games are SERIOUS BUSINESS. Discussing them requires a certain gravitas that someone with nice boobs simply can't provide.
