Thank god they've dropped the prices on games I didn't want anyway. Now I can not buy them for even cheaper!

Whee~!

Looks like I'll finally be picking up burnout revenge.

Even when titles hit Platinum they are still charging the $10 markup. I wonder if this $10 premium is ever going to end.

Burnout and Table Tennis would be the ones I'd get, but, isnt this old news? Like, mad old?

Oblivion isn't going to go Platinum before the PS3 version hits. For that matter it probably won't be platinum for a good while after it hits the PS3.

Maybe I'll pick up GRAW now before the second one hits.

How come dead rising wont reach platinum? a lot of people (specially in Japan) bought the console for that one.

Doa4 is actually surpringsily good, if you are into fighting games you may want to pick that one up before VF5 hits. I think battlefront 2 should be fun on live, but I havent tried it.

Oh.. and an interesting detail about Burnout Revenge, achievements are relatively easy and FAST to get. (hint, hint)

I'm with pandlcg on this one. $30 for a platinum hits is lame.

Agreed $30 is still too high. Might be able to get this cheaper on GAMEFLY ... (no. I do not work for them, nor have an active account). Fight Night and GRAW are great games worth checking out.

Yeah gonna pick up burnout. But shouldn't Table tennis be cheaper than the rest since it was a cheaper title anyway?

So, they make it half price, and people still complain? Maybe they shouldn't have bothered. Games cost more this time round, whether its greed or costs causing it, get over it.

Hm? Why is Table Tennis going platinum? Wasn't its original price $40? That doesn't sound like that big of a price drop.

I already own a lot of those games. I'm surprised Chromehounds sold so well in Japan but not in the US, although I know I shouldn't be, since I have full knowledge of the Japanese giant robot fetish. I'm going to have to rent Battlefield 2 before I decide if I _really_ want to purchase yet another FPS. And I'd like those games to be $20, I'm sure they'll be marked down at some outlets.
