We're a day out with the above video, but here's a late Halloween greeting from Sega, as they present a scary trailer revolving around Sonic's new Werehog form. Actually, it's not scary, but it's still decent regardless. Kind of Pixar-ish, actually ... and I am going to forget I saw that horrible little fairy mouse character.
Looks like a full movie tie-in with Sonic Unleashed is on the way. Didn't expect that. Straight to DVD? Actually, it seems like it'll be online.
After the jump, we have some more gameplay trailers for you. The first one is set in Chunan, the game's China-themed level, while the second takes us to Mazuri, a rainforest-styled stage with some catchy music.
I'm still keeping the faith on this. Still keeping the faith.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
And that is all. Nothing else. I will buy 5 copies so they can stay in business.
Because I played it and what I played was good.
"No Sonic game has been good since the Sega Genesis, possibly Sega CD."
The first Sonic Advance was excellent.
let me remind you why:
YOU'RE
TOO
SLOW
i have very high expectations since -secret rings- was shit (to me)
im really hoping they make this one as good as the adventures... SEGA PLEASE, do what your doing, but DONT have the speed bursts flinging the player to their deaths again.
Yes, I stand corrected. Sonic Advance was good, but that's because it went back to the roots of the original Sonic games. I still liked Sonic & Knuckles better, but it was a good game nonetheless. I, however, will amend my original comment to better represent what I really meant.
No Sonic game on a home console has been good since the Sega Genesis, possibly Sega CD.
I didn't like the Sonic Adventure games either, though the first was amazing looking for it's time.
I won't slag this game off until I've played it but seeing as it's based on pretty mediocre foundations I doubt it'll be up to much.
