More Sega classics may be coming to XBLA photo

I'm sure you don't already have enough copies of Altered Beast in repackaged form laying around the house, which means this is good news for you! According to the achievement listings on MyGamerCard, Altered Beast, Shinobi and Comix Zone may be coming to Xbox Live Arcade in your very near future.

Of course, if you already own Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (or for that matter, any other Genesis compilation), this news may not be very exciting to you. I have to admit, I was worked up the first time I saw Phantasy Star II get reissued, but now it's kind of old hat. Why don't I own a Super Nintendo Classics Collection or a Best Of The NES tribute? Now that I'd have a reaction for...

Didn't Sega make baby robotic chickens, too?

What, you mean that one boss from the Game Gear version of Sonic 2? Those guys were a pain in the ass.

@sammich: God, don't even remind me of GG Sonic 2. Forced perfect runs on bosses? Ouch. It's no wonder several people didn't make it past the Underground Zone boss.

@char

Agreed. Best $30 I've spent on retro games in a loooong time. Even if I was forced to take on a copy of Fatal Labyrinth in the process.

Somehow this just makes me long for Virtual On on the 360 that much more. I was't a big SEGA gamer growing up, but me and my best friend would tear it up on Virtual On at our local theater. He owns the Dreamcast version, but I'd love to have it on my 360 as well.

Yeah, I guess what I'm trying to say is that Virtual On is about as classic SEGA as I get...

Well apart from Gunstar Heroes, I'd say my xbox 360 sega arcade game collection is complete thanks to Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection (what Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection was called in the UK.)

I think I'll just settle on a copy of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection when I can find it for dirt cheap.

Now Capcom should release their two PS2 collections into one 360/PS3 disc. Having the Sega and Capcom sets would make my year!!!

The one thing I'd like to see from Sega, is for the them to Daytona 2001 onto Live and PSN.

I'd also like them to get outsource and remake ESWAT, Shinobi and Motoraid.

Also remake Panzer, with a free roaming slant, and a new Jet Set Radio 4.

Because why charge $40 for a collection like Sega did when people will pay $5-10 per game?

Sega only charged 30 for the genesis coll. and at 15 cents a game (even if you dont want em all, fatal labyrinth ewww) you cant go wrong. Oh and @Reborn you are a dick and a scummy pirate (unless you owned all the games you dl'd, then you are just a dick).
