This morning we told you that Portal 2 was a real thing that's really happening. It's coming this holiday season at a full retail price.
The newest detail on the sequel is that it includes co-operative play. The co-op mode will have its own campaign and will feature two new playable areas. GI also says that there will be "surprising" new characters as well as new areas of the Aperture Science Labs.
Thanks to Eurogamer, we also now know that Valve's Doug Lombardi has confirmed this release for both PC and Xbox 360. No PS3 so far.
So there you go. March seems a bit early to be making Christmas lists, but it's already happening.

They're working on it, they can't exactly make PS3 games until they have PS3 developers though, it won't happen like magic.

Seriously, what the fuck are you talking about you dipshit? You know what I'm going to do on MY side of the fence? I'm gonna go get God of War 3 on the 16th and play it for like 2 months straight, because it's probably my favorite game series. Then, when I'm done with it, I'll likely play some Xbox 360 games, including Portal 2, because I loved the first one. Maybe even some PC or Wii games, because I've got those too.

@shoop I highly doubt they will raise the price without significantly adding to the story/scale/playtime.
Valve makes games with the PC in mind and the PC only. The fact that it comes out on the 360 at all is for some cheap cash to continue producing games for the PC.
