More Left 4 Dead Xbox 360 content is coming photo

PC people can now make whatever level they desire in Left 4 Dead. Last month Valve handed the keys and the tools over to its devout community. That update probably won’t become available for the Xbox 360 -- Microsoft’s LIVE service isn’t built to handle such a thing. But frown not, Xbox 360 crowd: Valve is planning to release another round of downloadable content for Left 4 Dead.

At a preview event Official Xbox Magazine attended for Left 4 Dead 2, Valve’s PR man confirmed new content is on its way. “The plan at the moment,” Lombardi said, “is to get at least one more update out before L4D2 comes out so we’ll be announcing more on that probably in a couple of weeks.”

Sadly, he didn’t think to apologize in advance for disgruntling the folks who believe Valve has abandoned them by creating and announcing a brand new game as well as continuing to support the thing they thought wouldn’t be supported. Whoops.

How dare they do what they say they said they were going to do and not disappoint it's community like they said they wouldn't and unlike certain BC's (blatantcunts... er boycotters) said they would. How dare they, sir.

All I want is a few new sets of characters. Just new models and new voices. Keep the animations, whatever. I want a set of clowns and a set of cheerleaders.

I'm sorry but I don't want new content, I want to whine like a little bitch about how they stopped supporting it.

I just don't get it. All they had to do in the press release for L4D2 was to say they have some awesome content coming up still for the original L4D, aside from the Survival mode and user content.

Cool, more crap that will become repetitive after a week and people can continue to proclaim Valve as the greatest company ever.

@Kyousuke: The game never gets repetitive bc the AI director makes a different experience every time, and you get matched up with new personalities with different approaches and playing styles. I still play the campaigns and survival all the freakin' time. This news is awesome, welcome, and relevant to my interests. Kill yourself.

"I predict 2 new campaigns, and that's it."

I would be thrilled if that happened, but I think your prediction is overly optimistic. To be more realistic, better matchmaking or some leaderboard implementation maybe? Whatever, as a huge versus fan, I'm curious to see what it is.

wouldn't it be <amazing> if they released a 5th campaign ? too bad thats not going to happen. it'll be some non-feature, something in the menu system. like new lobbies or some shit. I guess I'll have to wait till november for some new goodies.
