The above short video shows off one of the eight weapons of Moon, the new DS first-person shooter from publisher Mastiff. This weapon is a sort of sniper rifle, allowing you to zoom in and pick off space baddies before they can see you.
I'm currently playing through review code of Moon now. I don't have that weapon yet, but I can say that I need it... now. Oh, and switching weapons is really easy in Moon. You just tap a weapon with your stylus, slide it to what you'd like to use next, and let go. Pretty slick, if you ask me.
In fact, the whole game is slick. It must be said that none of these trailers do the game justice. Seeing it in action in person, gliding along like butter in 60 FPS -- it's all really impressive. And the game? It's great. Look forward to our review very soon.

Meet the rest of the team
I gave up on Moon already, because of the game breaking bug mentioned in the IGN review. It's absolutely fucking retarded that they left that in there, and that they designed the driving level in a manner that makes the way to get stuck seem like the right thing to do.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Everything in it just looks blah, and that's not just a shot at the graphics (which, frankly, hurt my eyes more than the original "Doom").
I've tried it out myself. It's pretty fun. The graphics are amazing for a DS game. It gets a little repetitive at times but overall, it's great.
