Yes, it's time for another Monthly Musings, the series that allows commenters and cbloggers to get their thoughts posted on the front page. Last month, we talked about the benefits and pains of playing with other people; this month, we're talking about the emotions and ideas that come from singleplayer experiences.
What does singleplayer gaming offer that multiplayer doesn't? Is singleplayer a more, or less "pure" form of videogaming? What accounts for the general trend toward singleplayer experiences in today's market?
If it has to do with singleplayer games, you can talk about it. Just be sure to put "Playing With Yourself: blah blah" in your cblog post and use the "monthly theme" tag
