Remember when Psyonix's Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia was announced for the Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3? And then they were all like, "Oh, the PlayStation 3 version has been delayed. Here are the Xbox 360 and PC versions, though"? Well, the PS3 version of the title has re-emerged, this time as Monster Madness: EX.

Monster Madness is a four-player, Unreal Engine 3.0 powered co-op monster slaughtering adventure that had a lot of potential, but fell short with broken controls and wonky camera. Psyonix hopes to rectify those issues by tweaking the camera and tightening controls, as well as adding mini-games and other built-in extras.

Nothing excites me more than the idea of fast-paced monster killing with three of my friends, but the Xbox 360 version of Monster Madness left a lot to be desired. Let's hope Monster Madness: EX makes me happy again when it ships early next year.

This game was broken. It will always be broken. No amount of shiny can fix it.

I felt bad for the 360 version. Noone played it at PAX. It was all by itself everytime I walked by. Lol.

At least the concept art was kinda cool?

The 360 demo alone pissed me off. It's hard to turn me off of a game in less than 2 minutes, this game did it. The controls sucked, the camera never focused on the right thing, and if I remember correctly...the character you play keeps talking shit to the zombies w/ only 3-4 different phrases. That last point got REAL old REAL quick.

Seemed like a terrible attempt to find the badassidness (baddassidy, no. badassidium, no. badassitoritariunim, god no.) that was Hunter: The Reckoning for Gamecube.

Zombies at my Neighbors wouldn't work in 3D.

...or would it?

"Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia" was not developed by Psyonix Studios, it was developed by Artificial Studios.

They just finished level 3, and need to tighten up the graphics a little bit.

Wow. I guess I really am the only guy in the world that thought this game was totally great as it was. Seriously, I thought the controls were perfect and the camera was just fine. But, that's just me...

That's a nice ass fuck for 360 owners, we get the broken, buggy piece of shit version and PS3 owners get the complete version including the online co-op that should have been in the fucking game in the first place.

Way to support your fanbase southpeak.
