This week Capcom released the iOS version of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, and it doesn't look half bad -- if you have an MFi controller of course (the on-screen touch prompts look pretty nasty).
Why does it look decent, you ask? Well, it features hi-res visuals that actually look better than the PSP version as well as wifi online multiplayer and a reworked UI. It also has a target lock-on feature.
The prospect of playing it on a propped-up iPad or with HDMI out on the TV doesn't sound awful.
