Sweet, sweet cross-region and off-TV play

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is great and all, but it could be better. Like, why can't we play against folks outside our region? Or why can't we play using the Wii U's off-TV function? Last month, Capcom promised to address those issues, and on April 16, it will hold true to its word.

The free update will introduce cross-region compatibility with American and European players -- tough luck, Japan -- as well as the much anticipated "toilet play," which is what all the cool kids are calling it. Just don't get too excited and lose track of time while fooling around with the new features. You wouldn't want to be late to your first day of school, would you?

Anybody test out the 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro yet? Is it the cat's knees and the bee's pajamas? How does it stack up to the original Circle Pad Pro? For a certain set of Japanese gamers, the stock devices are hella weaksauce. Mo...

These are the type of promotional ads I love. Not serious, just having fun, a little dumb, and a great spoof. You can only handle so many promotional trailers for a game. I mean, you already know what to expect by release, s...
Culty has been ever so kind as to put together a neat little Beginner's Guide for the Monster Hunter series. It was written and designed by the hosts of the "My Fair Hunter Podcast," a fan podcast dedicated to the games. Sinc...
