Monday Night Combat gets the Spunky Cola Special tomorrow

11:00 PM on 11.30.2010

Here I was thinking there would be few notable releases during December, especially compared to early in 2011, but we're actually getting a bunch of quality digital offerings next month. One such piece of downloadable content is the "Spunky Cola Special" for Monday Night Combat.

First of all, it's free. Smart move for a game that shouldn't segregate its audience. Secondly, there's quite a lot to it: a new mode, "Prestige"-esque level reset feature, arenas, private match options, churros, better balancing, fixes, and even more on top of all that.

And if you're just now hearing about this, the wait isn't going to be long. Uber Entertainment is pushing this content out tomorrow on Xbox LIVE.

Review: Call of Duty: Ghosts: Nemesis

Look, $50 is a lot of money for a Season Pass in a first-person shooter. If it was just comprised of 16 maps alone, no matter how good they were, it probably wouldn't be worth the money for all but the most diehard of FPS fan...more

What's the point? Wii U gets Black Ops II map almost two years later

The Wii U often gets the shaft in terms of DLC. It either gets it late, not at all, or is left completely in the wind as to what the status is. Nearly every major publisher has pulled one of these moves, most notably Activisi...more
