A gamer like me has zero problem storming into a press room and making my hatred for racing games known. Nevertheless, I've been playing a good amount of them in recent weeks at fancy industry events and in the back of strangers' vans down by the river. Recent takes on the genre have been unique and memorable, but the one that most catches my creative eye (and the LEGO lover in me) is ModNation Racers.
My childhood would've been far more memorable (for all the right healthy reasons) if ModNation associate producer Dan Sochan would've turned himself ten, stormed into my room -- him and I would've had this interview then. Luckily, technology finally caught up, and the level of customization makes my inner ten-year-old shout out in happiness. With only weeks away and a sweet PlayStation Portable version in the works, ModNationRacers can't come soon enough.
Stay a bit and check out my in-depth interview with Dan Sochan. It's a good one. Promise.
