haha wow, it's been taken down but i can imagine it's impressive. I've only got over 25 about 10 or so times on COD4 i think, but it may be worth using a slot on this to see myself crush everyone with a nuke.
In Modern Warfare 3 35 kills gives you a Terminator which will go back and time and kill your opponents' mothers before they were ever born. A 50 kill streak will grant you a Doomsday device of unspeakable proportions, unlike the tactical nuke in MW2 it won't just end your match, it will end all matches everywhere, forever and will completely ruin the game for everyone- which seems to be the inevitable conclusion to all this crap.
Awesome hahaha. I'd definitely try to get the nuke at least once or twice. No way I would make it part of my load-out though; complete waste of a slot.
They're trying too bloody hard, throwing in pointless bullshit. Spending more time throwing in pointless extras like 3rd person and random kill streak and death streak items, and not the things that matter, working out the bugs of multiplayer and single player.
It's as if they're just trying to throw things onto the hype train, but it's just not working for me. I just hope I'm not alone on this one.
Who is also guessing that Activition has a super computer hooked up to YouTube that searches anything that could be related to one of their games? Like the words "prostitute" "whore" and "ho" for Assassin's Creed II
It would be better if there were bomb shelters in each map that you could instruct you team mates to go to so that you can survive the nuclear blast, and when the opposing team respawns they come back as mutants from Fallout 3.
The only time I will see this is when I get thrown into a game that my team is getting their ass kicked. I know by that point most people would have left let's hope there Is a map like bog that I can actually get this
I have no problem with this. It should very rarely be seen, if people are actually awake and twiddling their joysticks. Certainly a worthy reward for the accomplishment.
Most of you are overreacting to this. Its very rare for someone to get a 25 kill streak. So it will almost never happen. I've been playing for two years and my highest kill streak is 23. Stop bitching about this super rare thing. There will be more matches afterward if you get nuked. Your gaming world doesn't fucking end. Think of it as a super awesome and rare thing.
I agree that 25 is pretty high and very hard to get so the nuke wont be going off every other game or so, but cant you get ANY kill-streak bonus from a care package at 4 kills? What happens if someone drops a care package and its a nuke? Lucky day for them. IW will hopefully put less a smaller chance for that to show up, if its set to show at all. Plus cant you only choose 3 kill streaks? If someone thinks they can get a 25 then thats maybe one less air strike or helicopter you may have to worry about.

not to toot my own horn, but ive had a few handfuls of 25 ish kill streaks. granted, it was alotta luck with the helicopters tho, and who knows, maybe with the new perks, mods and killstreaks, it may be that much easier

It happens all the time. Every third match I'm on someone gets a 25 killstreak, and every 20th match I'm on I get it myself.
It's funny because when my friends and I used to play CoD4 we always made jokes about getting a nuke as a kill streak reward.That joke has manifested itself.
i think this is gonna be annoying in the headquarters game type (if that still exists), cause u can get a lot of kills

But anyway... We've all seen a nuke explode in the first game. So this should on a smaller scale and fucking awesome!
Also to everyone else who has or will be crying about it. Think about it if the other team is doing that well, then a nuke is just a mercy ending.
