For those rethinking your long-standing boycott, maybe you might want to give Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer on the PC a try this weekend.
Why? Well, you can play it for free, which is as good a reason as any. Starting Thursday, April 8, Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer will be part of a special "Free Weekend" promo on Steam.
Call into work sick Thursday and Friday, and pre-load the game on Steam now. You couldn't dare miss a second of all of this free.

How much did MW2 sell on the PC anyway? All I know is that after the 1st week, it dropped drastically.

No way I'm gonna play this horseshit even for free. I was looking forward to Singularity too, guess I will get it used.
Since this isn't a demo that steam always gives out for free, its safe to say that sells weren't even great on steam as well lol.

Nope. The majority is in deep silence, and proly' pre-loading :)
Even when he comes around and logs into his steam account, my computer with a with a great net connection, the lag is just awful, matches will end for no good reason, you'll get kicked repeatedly and rage far too often.
I think this is a mistake, more people will get frustrated with lag and online issues, and just not buy the game. I am NOT over stating the facts, look at the amount of complaints on steam forums about network issues.
