this is a good buy. I got a ton of hours from resistance 2 co op. It was as damn shame they didnt put it in R3. they should of threw out the competitive mode and focused on co op. Fuck competing with other competetive shooters like COD or Battlefeild. As you can see, Im still ticked about their decision to take out the co op mode in R3. Thats a good thing because it shows how much I enjoyed it in R2.

If there's anything good I can say about Sony is that they don't hesitate to offer all their games in one package. The same can't be said about Nintendo who withheld a game from Virtual Console just to release it as a half-assed "anniversary" package and it wasn't even the good version of the game.

eh never really interested in the resistance. the coop in resistance 2 was neat but it was thrown away in 3 so i didnt bother with it. also another thing i didnt like about resistance was how extremely different they played from each other.

Man I love these games. There's just something about them. Resistance 1 for instance. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about the game is so refreshing and rewarding. All I could do was play it over and over again over the years, because I get sudden urges to be in its world again. I really can't explain what it is.

It like...The graphics are sharp, you know, and everything has a very clean look to it The controls feel responsive and a bit floaty at the same time, but in a good way. The way the guns recoil, the way the enemies react, the way the levels are designed and how they look, it all adds up to an experience unlike any other, and there is something special in the middle of all of it that just makes the game incredible.

Although I didn't enjoy the two sequels quite as much as the first one, they are both fantastic games and WELL WORTH the money for this collection. That's like 30 hours of shooter bliss right there.

Never cared for 1 and 2, and it would have been nice to see the PSP game(s?) ported as well. But still, might be a nice package considering I never picked up 3, and definitely a good deal for people who missed out on the whole thing.

Insomniac Games has made some fantastic games, but the Resistane series was mediocre. Possibly the worst AAA FPS games this generation.

Resistance 3 is the underrated gem of the series. For me personally it has the best graphics, the best set pieces. In R3 it takes place in a depression era type earth, where as the first 2 while still good have more military feels to them. Also campaign co-op returned and the Multiplayer while never the greatest was at it's best in R3 IMO cause they reduced it back to a solid 16 players vs. R2's ridiculous 64 player fragfest.

So now that I've finisged suckin' R3's dick, whose buying this? We should play!

Resistance 3 is a special game.

The single player is reminiscent of Half Life 2 and is one of the few fps that trades graphics for a unique art style.

unique artstyle... ehmem... yes. Lighting was great though.

Do yourself a favor and just play the first Resistance.

I couldn't get into the first game for whatever reason. The controls and aiming always put me off and no trophy support patch just made it harder for me. I'll wait for the Killzone collection. I really enjoyed the second one.

yeesh... I just picked up R3 two weeks ago for like $10 or $15 I think.... I'll pass it, trade it in, and wait for this to drop down to $30, then double dip all over again... I actually enjoyed the SP Campaigns for both Resistance games... and I"m sure I"ll like R3 as well.

I picked up RFoM at GS for like $8 a couple of years ago. Picked up R2 for $13 a couple weeks later. A month or so ago I picked up R3 at Best Buy for $10.

Grand Total of $31 dollars.

Not sure how Sony thinks this makes sense...oh wait, they just pretend that you can't pick up three year old used games for cheap. Got it.
