Who is up for another incredibly stylish Mirror's Edge trailer? Well it doesn't matter what your opinion is, because we have one for you anyway.

In this new video promoting DICE's interesting first-person-not-shooter, we get to learn a little bit more about the Runners. In case you don't know (for some reason), these are the fleet-footed delivery boys and girls of whom main character Faith is one.

As with everything involving Mirror's Edge, this video is incredibly cool. Will coolness translate into a good game? We'll have our Destructoid review soon, so make sure to check it out.

I can't let this go...
Surely it should be "Mirror's Edge "Runners' Story" trailer" not "Mirror's Edge 'Runners' Story'' trailer".
Or at least "Mirror's Edge 'Runners' Story' trailer".

Can we please start calling it what it is, a "first-person runner"? I mean, that's literally what it is. Shooting is virtually irrelevant.

I didn't really like the demo. I hated the combat

I still haven't gotten around to the demo: a) because I don't really care and b) Fallout 3.

The game said during the demo that you were supposed to avoid combat when you can. When those 3 guards rused you what did you do fight them? I ran up the stairs. You're given all these cool moves like wall jumping to get away and a real basic shoot mechanic. Says something I think. Yea the system can be better, maybe it will be, it was after all a demo. It doesn't strike me as a combat game, there are plenty of other games to fill that need.

There's an achievement for completing the game having not ever fired a gun. Go figure, I guess.

I don't care, I freaking love the game. I haven't played an FPS game so refreshing in both it's style and gameplay.

I think you should be pretty skilled with a gun, but keep it limited to point and shoot, perhaps without a crosshair?

The story has a William Gibson appeal to it. I wonder if Rhianna Pratchett was a fan of the books.

Either way it's damned clever: wouldn't expect any less from that family I s'pose.

I wonder if these story scenes being shown in the trailers will be available for viewing in the retail game, or if everything will be in the "realistic" style that the actual gameplay showcases...

I am stoked for the Destructoid review. That's going to be excellent and will definitely determine whether or not I buy the game.
