Minimalist Pokémon wallpapers for your desktop photo

That just screams class.

It's often hard for me to show off all of my videogame kit to the norms. People in my peer group either get it or they don't, but it's still awkward at times. Especially in the face of something so clearly built with children in mind.

These minimalist wallpapers from Pokémon fan site PLDH.net are something I could show off a little more proudly. Even if I don't cop to them being pocket monsters they're still cool designs. There are 104 of them available, with promises that more will be added frequently.

If they managed to get all 493 critters portrayed in this way, it would be nothing short of amazing. Odds against that are pretty high, I'd wager. Even if it never makes it past these first 104, there's some quality work right here.

Which is your favorite?

Review: Ironfall: Invasion

Developing a Gears of War-like cover shooter for Nintendo 3DS is unconventional, but that's just what VD-Dev did with Ironfall: Invasion. Featuring both local and online multiplayer, as well as an 11-stage campaign, the project seems fairly ambitious for the handheld, and as you'd expect, there are mixed results. While multiplayer turned out well enough, the campaign is a mess.more
