Mojang and Microsoft announced today that Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will release this August, priced at $19.99. And if you're an owner of the Xbox 360 version, you'll get to upgrade to this new one for only $4.99.

On that note, you'll also be able to import your saved game data to Xbox One, letting you continue on right where you left off. Microsoft does warn that most but not all of the skins and texture packs will make the jump.
