At last year's MineCon, Minecraft creator Notch helped this dude Matt propose to his girlfriend Asia. Fast forward to April, the couple tied the knot in a room decorated to look like Minecraft's digital realm.
The ceremony was held at Beatnik Studios in Sacramento, California, spruced up with pixel trees, Creepers, a duck, and so on. Jones Soda, which also had a hand in the proposal, supplied a variety of Minecraft-themed beverages as well. The whole event, while understandably geeky, had a definite touch of class, right down to Asia's "diamond" necklace and the groomsmen's smashing 8-bit ties.
Very sweet! Good luck, you crazy kids!
