Minecraft surpasses one million sales, still in beta photo

Last week, Maurice pointed out to me that Minecraft sales were dangerously close to reaching 1 million. (The game's site shows that figure.) I told him I might as well wait until that threshold was crossed. Well, here I am, telling you that this inevitable event was, in fact, inevitable.

Tremendous news for Mojang Specifications, which has in recent times become an honest-to-God development studio with an office and multiple employees. That's the power of Minecraft. I cannot wait to see what else they have in store.

In other news, have you joined Destructoid's Minecraft server yet? Get on that!

Conflicks has a great alternate history setup with anachronistic space colonialism

Did you know that Leonardo da Vinci discovered MetaMatter? Well, not in real life, but in the universe of Conflicks he did. It turns out all it takes is to separate a chicken egg's yolk from its albumen, and to heat up the y...more
