Minecon is happening at Disneyland Paris this year

3:00 AM on 08.03.2012

Yes, really.

Notch and team have announced that this years Minecon will be taking place at Disneyland Paris on November 24-25. The convention debuted in Las Vegas last year and drew in around 5,000 people. Now it's the European audiences chance for fun, where they'll get to do all things Minecrafty AND get to go on the little teacup ride too.

Ticket sales, and hotel registration will be announced in the coming weeks. Really happy to see the European audience get a convention like this for a change. Most of the cool stuff usually only happens in the US.

And hey, Mojang will be at PAX Prime this year so you can see them all in the States still if you were lucky enough to buy a ticket within the six hours they were available.
