Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor scans and fresh information photo

I've only just started getting into Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney after all these years, so I marked out pretty hard when I heard that there was a Miles Edgeworth game in the works. He's an absolute wanker in Phoenix Wright, so I can't wait to play it!

Thanks to the fountain of knowledge that is Famitsu, some fresh details have emerged concerning Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor. The scans talk about two new characters in the game -- Mikumo Ichijou who is a "self-proclaimed thief" and prosecutor Makoto Yuuki, who is described as a "Sports buff."

The game is split between three separate phases -- Investigation, Logic, and Confrontation. It sounds like the courtroom scenes that made the game famous are not prevalent here, but it's promised that we still get all the fun of pressurizing people and cracking them with cold, hard logic.

A playable demo is due to be available at the Tokyo Game Show. Expect more details then!

[Thanks, ScaryWomanizingPigMask]

They need to localize the demo and then bring it to the Wii download center thing. I want to try this out so badly.

Miles Edgeworth: Prick Prosecutor
I really hope one gets to be the kind of lawyer everybody hates.

This is going to be awesome. I absolutely love the Phoenix Wright series, and even though I don't have a stiffy for Edgeworth like most PW buffs (you'll never catch ME looking at the fan-made images of Edgey and Phoenix making out. Wait, how do I know those exist? SHUT YOUR MOUTHS, ALL OF YOU), I am 100% positive this game will blow my mind. I hope this one doesn't take 40 years to come to the States.

He's not that much of a wanker. Just wait until you get to the third game.

My fave is still the first, the 2nd was boring, the 3rd had that annoying Mary Sue in that red head and Apollo Justice was just shit and for the start of a new franchise it was basically PHOENIX IS AWESOME, Apollo is a loser and his daugther was also an annoying Mary sue.

Hopefully this new franchise will get off to a better start.

So does that mean in all the cases in this, the defendant is guilty?

He becomes less of a wanker as the games go on, up until he becomes a rather likable character, in a sort of redeemed darth vader kind of way.

Yay, I can't wait. Edgeworth is one of the few gaming adversaries I actually respect.

There should be an MP-game where one player uses the PR-cart and the other the ME-cart :-D
