Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes hits XBLA, PSN in April photo

Well, my day has been made. A couple of weeks ago, I almost broke down and bought Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes for DS, thinking that Capybara's high-def version for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade was stuck in development hell.

Not so! Joystiq reports that the studio has finalized mid-April as its release window. Incredibly reassuring news after such a long period of silence.

Between the slick hand-drawn art, rebalanced units, and online multiplayer, this is looking like an absolute must-buy. April 13 is my birthday, guys. You know what to do.

My friend picked up the game on DS. I forgot to ask him how it is.
I'll keep my eye on this.

Even though I already own this game on the DS (and loved it), I plan to check this out :)

I just hope they fixed the male paladin - I forget his name - had his CO Power. Every other CO in the game had some damaging special.

His special? Extra defense that can be chewed through with ease in one turn. Turtle tactics, basically. Every other character was good, though I still find it weird that all units face the player.

Eff yeah, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes! I loved it on DS, and I feel like I'll like it even more on 360, since I'll actually have people to play against.

I'm not particularly hopeful, but I wonder if they've done anything to make it usable by people with various degrees of colourblindness. I've been diagnosed with what they call red/green colourblindness but it shows up in puzzle games as an inability to distinguish what I think are supposed to be yellow and green. The DS version of this game and Puzzle Fighter are two that come to mind as being basically unplayable, while Puzzle Bobble is workable as differently colored bubbled also have a different design.

LOVED this game on DS. Possibly my favorite puzzle game ever. I'll definitely rebuy it on XBLA or PSN.

Day one buy!

Unless it turns out that is only out for XBLA that day and we don't get a definitive release day for PSN (damn you Beyond Good & Evil!)

Very unique and innovative title. And super fun and addictive to boot!

Capybara's art department deserve a round of high-fives. Both this and Critter Crunch are absolutely gorgeous games. I'll definitely be picking this up.

I got this game for the DS. One of the worst campaigns I have ever played in my entire life, but combat is great fun. If I had Xbox Live Gold I would probably get this game to play it online.

Oh my gosh, this game is absolutely amazing on DS, my favorite game on the platform. I can not wait to replay the campaign, but mostly to play the online multiplayer. That was the complaint that I had about the DS version.

Loved the DS version.

It not coming to PC despite being perfect for steam etc. is sad, insulting even given the franchise's history.

I sense this will be worth $15. It's too beautiful to be anything less.
