This morning, Midway passed along the long-awaited (well, by somebody...right?) list of Ballers who will be playable in their upcoming arcade basketball title, NBA Ballers: Chosen One. The full list features 81 NBA stars altogether: 67 present-day ballers, alongside 14 of the game’s legendary players.
They also put together a short montage that shows off in-game renders of each of the Ballers’ faces, as well as some previously unseen game footage. You can check that out above; the complete roster (in no particular order) is available after the jump, so you can start your cheering and/or complaining in the comments.
It’s a pretty solid group of players, and there’s plenty of variety, even among the legends. But how can you have an arcade basketball game, which is ostensibly all about doing crazy things with a basketball (including dunking), and not include Spud Webb? I call shenanigans!
NBA Ballers: Chosen One will be out for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on April 21st.

Ya know, at least Basketball games at least have some variety in their play styles and games. Football (my RL love) still has yet to interest me since Blitz which was almost 8 years ago.
Don't get me wrong I am sure they can make a fantastic game like this, but how can you call it "The Chosen One" with out the Chosen One (No, not Lebron James. The original Chosen One...)
if yao ming can do a flair on shaq's back as displayed by dwayne wade, then i'm sold.
What is this, Battle Basketball? Seriously, what was up with Iverson there.
Needs more Mugsy Bougues.
Iguodala...the best thing to come out of this town since uhm...

Never played Ballerz but I did like NBA Street Vol 2
Vince Carter!? Boo!!!
And where is Primoz Brezec? This game needs a Slovenian gangsta.
No asian love I see.
YAO!! But why put Greg Oden on there he didnt even play this season. Either way I can see hours spent on that game.

ok seriously what about olajuwon or shawn kemp?
or SKIP TO MY LOU!!?
whatever, I'm still keeping my eye on this, I too spent a long while on NBA Street Vol 2
I bet Greg Oden's super move is warming the bench.
Mugsy Bougues can't dunk. Spud Webb for lyfe. BOOMSHAKALA!
I choose you, Paul Pierce!
Paul Peirce Uses GETTING STABBED
IT'S SUPER-EFFECTIVE!
Can I play with a team made entirely of Steve Nash? He makes other people on his team better, imagine what five of them could do.
This is gonna be great!
can we just remake nba jam already and have done with it. its the franchise we all want back. in hd.
"he's on fire!!!!"
So does Bowen have a 99 rating here?
