While I really enjoy some of those games (Toobin' was a childhood favorite!), I really don't see the market for these games on consoles. It could work for a handheld collection though.
I feel like on consoles they need to focus more on the mid-90s. Toss in some San Fransisco Rush or even War Gods just for laughs.

i think ive actually played all of these games in the arcade at one point in my life, when chuck e cheese was the shit back in the late 80s.

Not bad, still feel this probably would've been better off as a digital release. Not that I don't love most of the games included (I do!), I just think a $10 (800 MSP for the mathematically challenged amongst us) release on XBLA is appropriate considering the age of most of these titles.
They're putting my favorite racing game on this disc (Super Off-Road) without XBLA/PSN online play?! weak!
Weren't there PS2 compilations that had upwards of 40 midway arcade games? Still, I'm a sucker for compilations, better this than 400-800 microsoft points each.
I'm totally going to buy this, but no way am I going to play pit-fighter again. Could you imagine creating and releasing that game, then porting it to consoles, then waiting like 20 years and re-releasing it? Cruel Midway... cruel.

Yep, as an 80s kid who grew up in smoky,sticky floored arcades (and possibly already owning. The previous midway collections on ps2), all this on one disc is too much to pass up.
So pretty much everything they deleted off of XBLA to begin with you not only have less achievements for, but you have to pay for again in order to play... I wonder if anyone else sees it that way? Who am I kidding, I'm still buying this! In fact I wish whomever owns Atari would do something like this... I'm itching to play me some Kangaroo!!!
30 bucks, 30 games. Easily spent that back in the day.

because a quick read up would suggest this money is just goin to the folk who bought midway out. in my eyes MAME is guilt free
this is one of the best line ups i've seen in a long time also at one point a few of these games where on the xbla but got tooken down when midway was striped and sold so from what i seen Warner Brothers got there hands on some of the classic games not just mortal kombat while EA games got there sports games well at lease one. my point is 30 dollars for 30 games that's 1 dollar each game. that's cheeper then buying them off the xbla when they sold the digital copyies for 400ms points *5 dollars*. so it's a good list it's worth the money
