Corporate guy toes corporate line and says good things about his company and bad things about the other ones. This happened all the time and it's completely understandable and expected, but it's still going to launch a shitstorm in the comments for some unfathomable reason.

That's just dumb. Nintendo's games are frequently some of the highest quality in the industry, the complaint is one of quantity, not quality. Sony has Little Big Planet and Demon Souls. MS can't even keep indies that are designed for the platform with the tools they provide from going to Steam.

IMO he's right about Forza. I have both GT4 and Forza 3 , GT4 currently collects dust. I prefered Forza's customization features, physics and car variety. But again that's IMO.
What first-party games? They haven't had a single first-party game, so far this year and the first one won't be until Gears of War 3 in September. Which they're just publishing that game, so its not even a internal first-party studio. Then they have Halo CE: Anniversary in November, but other than that, everything else is a bunch of Kinect crap. What else do they got? Nothing!
I'd take Uncharted or Resistance over Halo any day, and Metroid Prime over EVERYTHING any day.

I had an Xbox 360 for quite a number of years. Last February, I traded it in and got a PS3 for this very issue. Haven't regretted it.
Microsoft would rather spend its money on Kinect and ESPN than developing new and interesting games.

It happens because people ask them about it interviews, which was the case here, or it's a stockholder meeting. Either way I think it's understandable. They have to make themselves look good. It's marketing.

Can someone explain to me why Microsoft STILL hasn't utilized the power that is Rare? I'm sure Microsoft's E3 press conference would have been more well received if they had announced a new Conker or Killer Instinct.

maybe not nintendos first party offerings, but 360 has definitely better exclusives than crap, sony is trying to shove down people throats with their lazy cashgrabs and patches/DLCs sold as full fledget 60$ titles - especially this year with shit like LBP2, Motorstorm3, KZ3, Socom 4 and Move titles.
Uh Microsoft? I don't buy consoles based on how many copies of Kinect Sports you can sell. I buy them based on a strong, quality first party line-up. Because sales are not a bar of quality. If they were, then Nintendo owns you. So please, try to actually produce some new titles that don't need Kinect and aren't called Gears of War or Halo. As much as I love them, I will get burned out.

PS3 has a fuckload of amazing exclusive. I don't pay much attention to 360 exclusives, but there aren't many exclusives I hear people talk about.

They have sold lots, yes, but compared to Killzone, Mario or Zelda, in terms of quality? I'd have to disagree. Not to say that the Xbox has bad exclusives, FAR from it, but as of late, first-party titles from Sony and Nintendo seem to have higher quality compared to those from Microsoft.
