I specifically bought my PS3 for exclusives.. 360 is for all multi-plats and 360 exclusives.. Unless the PS3 one gets something special.
Right now, besides Splinter Cell Conviction, I can't think of any other MS games I'm looking forward to. Oh, Alan Wake.. that looks cool. What else is there?
On the PS3 side though.. Last Guardian and (pleasepleaseplease) a PSN 'ICO' and 'SOTC' are pumping me up. Also, GOW collecters.. GOW3 and Heavy Rain.
After that though? Who's gonna have what? And how longs it gonna take to get it?

My PS3 is getting so much love this past month with 3 new games not counting the PSN games, so it's insane.

Now that you point it out, that is a prett epic slate of upcoming exclusives from Nintendo. Someone can argue that a lot of the third party games have been awful, I'd still argue that the Wii has as many good games as either of the other consoles. I have a list of about 12 games I want to get when I get a Wii, and that's not shabby at all.

I have all systems(no N-Gage or Neo Geo sadly) so this faggotry is sickening. But microsaft has owned gaming since they took over PCs... sad but true, you ubuntu fools.

You're right, none of those games are "exclusives". But they ARE console exclusives. A lot of us can't afford to purchase and maintain a good gaming PC, so we have the choice between an Xbox 360 and PS3 for current-generation gaming. The cheapest gaming PC that can be bought or built comes in at about twice the cost of a 360 or PS3, which for me is unattainable. (My last "gaming" PC became obsolete when The Orange Box came out and I couldn't play it at anything above 10 FPS. I cried a little.)

I agree with that entire last paragraph -- Halo's all the 360's had recently, and I'm not interested in those at all. PS3, however, I've been playing new stuff non-stop.

Yep, they're exclusive to the Microsoft gaming platform, which the 360 is a part of.
When I think about exclusives, I take it to mean games that you are excluded from playing on certain consoles. You can't play Super Mario Galaxy on your 360, you can't play God of War on your Wii, and you can't play Lost Odyssey on your PS3.

This is actually right, the 360 does have MOST of the best games.

new ps3 games are really getting better but i still want them to put backwards compatablilty in the slim. i'd definetly get a ps3 then.
How bout GTA IV Expansions, 360 exclusive............and as somebody said, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell, Mass Effect 2, and Left 4 Dead...Microsoft exclusives.

as far as I'm concerned, I've gotta agree with Jim. PS3 overtook the 360 this year in the games library dept. and it doesn't feel like it'll be looking in its rearview anytime soon. I'd just add an obscure little game called The Last Guardian to the ones Jim mentioned.

I know that the Xbox360 is more than just an FPS machine but if they themselves can only say that "It's got the best first-person shooter games out there." and not mention the others, it really makes you think.
Well this statement would 100 percent be true a year ago but in the past year Sony has had..... Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone 2, inFamous, Uncharted 2, Demon Souls and the new Ratchet and Clank. Microsoft has had Gears 2, Left 4 Dead, Halo Wars, ODST and Forza 3... Sorry but im leaning towards the PS3 right now =D

I have my PC/PS3 combo and I'm extremely happy with it. If you can afford a good PC, there's absolutely no reason to get a 360. There's just so much on the PS3 that you can ONLY get on the PS3.
I think the ps3 owners should relent a little against those who actually want to believe the 360 is the only suitable platform.

Up until mid-2009 you could have been happily playing exclusively on 360 and knowing you aren't missing out on virtually anything while also getting the better multiplatform versions. The PS3 exclusives apart from Uncharted 2 haven't been mindblowingly special, for example H3 still beats KZ2 hands down gameplay-wise.
However, as the article mentions, the PS3 has and will catch up. This christmas might be a good time to pick one up, but as an only console, I think the 360 catalog still has the upper hand.
