Just Cause 2 has only just landed, but from the buzz around my Twitter I have discerned that it is indeed both fun and exciting. What makes things more fun and exciting? DLC of course! And according to an email Microsoft sent out yesterday we'll be getting more fun and excitment in DLC form on April 7.
The email listed things that we can expect from Xbox Live over the next few weeks and confirmed the not officially confirmed DLC as coming out. The DLC is called the 'Chevalier Ice Breaker,' and is described as a pimped out ice cream van by some text that was dug up in the PC demo of the game and revealed reported DLC (check it below).
No price point yet or official official confirmation, but we'd hazard a guess that this is going to happen. As our source notes this probably means that the PS3 will get the content on April 8. Whose up for big pimping in an ice cream truck?

Once this muscle car kicks into high gear, it will take a swarm of Panau's finest to put it to a halt. And if you are looking for a bit more bang for your buck, try out the new F-33 Dragonfly fighter jet. With quad-mounted miniguns and double missile launchers, this agile bird is the definite ruler of the skies, and packs a serious punch to land based targets as well.
Multi-Rocket Launcher DLC Weapon
Become the master of destruction with this fine addition to the Just Cause 2 arsenal. As the name implies, the Multi-Rocket Launcher is capable of firing a spread of rockets on your target, making it the most destructive weapon in Panau.

I want that and the parachute thrusters. Physics based violence FTW
Stunt jumping has killed me a many times
I'll totally buy whatever DLC they put out.
More interestingisdiobs requiring you to use the tools available would be cool. Even better would be more sandbox type tools (like the incredible hook-chute combo) that allow you do new interesting things
The ads make it look like just another title, nothing special.
Which makes me shed a single tear for gamers who skip out on it. Sure, the story itself is average, but if you like open world games and being able to get creative in your kills and go ANYWHERE (no invisible walls with closed bridges or any nonsense) and great controls and some of the best graphics for a game this size....this is one of the best, if not the best, open world games I've ever owned (and I play nearly all of them).
And no, I don't work for them. I just sound like it because I'm so impressed with it.
Bring on the DLC. I sure wouldn't say no to some parachute thrusters.
I was more posting to say to anyone on the fence, get this game. At least as a rent. I can't imagine how anyone into gaming won't have a blast.
