Microsoft lets Just Cause 2 DLC release date slip photo

Just Cause 2 has only just landed, but from the buzz around my Twitter I have discerned that it is indeed both fun and exciting. What makes things more fun and exciting? DLC of course! And according to an email Microsoft sent out yesterday we'll be getting more fun and excitment in DLC form on April 7.

The email listed things that we can expect from Xbox Live over the next few weeks and confirmed the not officially confirmed DLC as coming out. The DLC is called the 'Chevalier Ice Breaker,' and is described as a pimped out ice cream van by some text that was dug up in the PC demo of the game and revealed reported DLC (check it below).

No price point yet or official official confirmation, but we'd hazard a guess that this is going to happen. As our source notes this probably means that the PS3 will get the content on April 8. Whose up for big pimping in an ice cream truck?

Just Cause 2 DLC Coming April 7th Says Microsoft [PS3Trophies]

The full list that was taken from the PC demo of rumoured DLC items that are planned for the game are as follows (it also includes the pre-order items):

Pimped Rides Pre-order Pack
Bring on the chaos in Panau with a pimped up Ice Cream Van. Featuring a sturdy front ram, side skirts and greater top speed, you have the perfect tool for causing some serious fender-benders. Its extreme makeover also include a jingle to match. And if you’re in the mood for something even more destructive, why not try out a true weapon of mass destruction in the new and improved Tuk-Tuk. No longer the runt of the litter, this particular Tuk-Tuk houses a ridiculously oversized mounted weapon on the roof. Just the thing you need to wreak havoc in paradise!

Wild Rides DLC Pack
Unleash your inner beast with two truly powerful new vehicles. Get your kicks on the routes of Panau with this beautiful Chevalier Sauvage -69. Once this muscle car kicks into high gear, it will take a swarm of Panau's finest to put it to a halt. And if you are looking for a bit more bang for your buck, try out the new F-33 Dragonfly fighter jet. With quad-mounted miniguns and double missile launchers, this agile bird is the definite ruler of the skies, and packs a serious punch to land based targets as well.

Multi-Rocket Launcher DLC Weapon
Become the master of destruction with this fine addition to the Just Cause 2 arsenal. As the name implies, the Multi-Rocket Launcher is capable of firing a spread of rockets on your target, making it the most destructive weapon in Panau.

Signature Guns DLC Weapon
Get ready to truly fill Rico Rodriguez's shoes with the return of his classic signature guns, as seen in the original Just Cause. Don't miss this opportunity to hone your chaos-causing skills, using Rico's favourite tools of the trade.

Bull's Eye Assault Rifle
More powerful than the standard assault rifle, this lightweight and lethal automatic rifle features increased accuracy and a higher magnification scope.

Air Propulsion Gun
Courtesy of the Agency Propulsion Labs, this gun was originally designed as a jet engine but was soon repurposed for the weapons division where the Air Propulsion Gun was born.

Cluster Bomb Launcher
A natural progression of the grenade launcher, the Cluster Bomb Launcher is a small-scale weapon of mass destruction for personal use.

Rico's Signature Gun
Customised by the Agency and adapted for Rico’s shooting style, this deadly accurate and powerful pistol packs a punch with precision, power and flair.

Quad Rocket Launcher
Combine a rocket launcher with a shotgun and you've got yourself the powerful Quad Rocket Launcher - expect some collateral damage!

Multi-lock Missile Launcher
This highly sophisticated weapon of destruction allows you to lock up to four targets and unleash a barrage of homing missiles to take care of all your troubles.

Tuk Tuk Boom Boom
Try out a true weapon of mass destruction in the new and improved Tuk Tuk. No longer the runt of the litter, this particular Tuk Tuk features a ridiculously oversized mounted weapon on the roof. Just the thing you need to wreak havoc in paradise!

Chevalier Ice Breaker
Bring on the chaos in Panau with a pimped-up Ice Cream Van. Featuring a sturdy front ram, side skirts and greater top speed, you have the perfect tool for causing some serious fender-benders. This extreme makeover also includes a jingle to match.

F-33 DragonFly Jet Fighter
Try out the new F-33 Dragonfly fighter jet. With quad-mounted miniguns and double missile launchers, this agile bird is the definite ruler of the skies, and packs a serious punch to land based targets as well.

Chevalier Classic
No agent should be without a hot set of wheels and with an increased top speed and superior handling, you can arrive at your destination in style or make a guaranteed quick getaway.

Agency Hovercraft
The ultimate in amphibious transport, the Agency Hovercraft is the most flexible form of transport in the game. Steered by a thrust-based engine for smooth and agile movement, the vehicle is as comfortable on land as off. Equipped with a turret-mounted autocannon, you’re guaranteed to blow your opposition out of the water.

Monster Truck
The usefulness of an oversized monster truck when destabilizing small countries is clearly evident.

Dual Parachute Thrusters
Take to the air for longer! The Dual Parachute Thrusters when mounted to the parachute rig provides bursts of forward momentum to extend airtime.

Dare Devil Parachute
Perform your ultimate stunts in style with this Dare Devil Parachute.

Chaos Parachute
Featuring a skull motif, make an entrance no one will forget ... should you leave anyone alive to remember.

Camo Parachute
Designed for covert operations this camo parachute will make it much harder to trace your movements across Panau.

Tiger Parachute
Take to the air in style with this tiger stripe parachute.

Firestorm Parachute
Avoid enemy heat with his hot Firestorm Parachute.

Scorpion Parachute
Rico's trademark 'Scorpion' comes to life in this bespoke parachute.

Rico's Standard Parachute
Rico's original parachute for those that would like to return to basics.

@SkillzKing DLC? You mean the stuff that was in the game but is sold to 'stupid gamers' without the good sense to question why is it free on the PC. Those guys?

Oh man, I'm so glad they are going to support this game with DLC. Avalanche and Square London should really look at what Criterion did with Burnout Paradise and put the Delorean into this game. Paradise's was sweet but taking off from the street in JC2 flying around sjing to the hood blowing shit up and then warping (granted your going 88) to another locale would be fucking awesome.

So if you hook a guy to the jet gun, can you play human paddleball with him?

I want that and the parachute thrusters. Physics based violence FTW

This is not the DLC you are looking for. Weapons and vehicles are not the things Just Cause 2 is missing. What it needs more of is interesting missions. As fun as it is the game is a little too sandbox and not enough game.

I love this game, got it on STEAM 4AM Saturday morning (well, Friday night? whatever) and me and my cousin played it for 15 hours in the next 24, and it was all glorious and ridiculous fun.

I'll totally buy whatever DLC they put out.

I noticed that some of this DLC (off the top of my head; the Chaos chute, the hovercraft and the signature guns) was part of the Gamestop preorder deal. Regardless, this whole list looks awesome and if the official release is anything like that I'll probably be down for it. For me, one of the only problems I've had with the game is the lack of ability to parasail behind cars :(

Hpv: I agree to a point. Standard vehicles and weapons isn't the most exciting DLC; not sure I'd pay for any if it save the het gun and hovercraft. Even then it would need to be inexpensive for me to consider it since it doesn't really add that much to the game.

More interestingisdiobs requiring you to use the tools available would be cool. Even better would be more sandbox type tools (like the incredible hook-chute combo) that allow you do new interesting things

Just Cause needs new advertising. Because when you see ads or commercials...if you didn't know Just Cause it couldn't look more plain.
The ads make it look like just another title, nothing special.
Which makes me shed a single tear for gamers who skip out on it. Sure, the story itself is average, but if you like open world games and being able to get creative in your kills and go ANYWHERE (no invisible walls with closed bridges or any nonsense) and great controls and some of the best graphics for a game this size....this is one of the best, if not the best, open world games I've ever owned (and I play nearly all of them).
And no, I don't work for them. I just sound like it because I'm so impressed with it.

Bring on the DLC. I sure wouldn't say no to some parachute thrusters.
I was more posting to say to anyone on the fence, get this game. At least as a rent. I can't imagine how anyone into gaming won't have a blast.

I don't know if I really need any more content in this game. I've already sunk about 23 hours into it and I'm currently at 21% completion. That's pretty impressive.

First of all ensure that you dont allocate any more memory above 4096 and ensure that no more than 2 cpu for the VM is selected. In Vmware tools remove the following services, shared folders, memory control driver and the filesync driver. You should see a huge reduction on your CPU peak. Also use load manager in citrix to limit the amount simulatanous logons, this will ensure that you dont slow down existing sessions. This should be adequate for 35-45 sessions. Anything above the number of sessions its better to scale out then scale up. [url=http://casinosonlinelive.com/]Casinos Online[url]

That's not true ... crunch the numbers. I've done the math and I can save not only money but server space as well. True I may not get the same user count per server (the so called ESX tax), but I'll definately save more money and space and heat using VI3. Casinos Online
